China and Bangladesh jointly issued a commemorating stamp here on 28 September 2010, Tuesday to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
China and Bangladesh established diplomatic relationship on Oct. 4, 1975. To commemorate the 35th anniversary this year, the governments of China and Bangladesh decided to issue commemorating stamp.
The commemorating stamp shows Bengal Tiger -- the national animal of Bangladesh. Bangladesh was responsible for the designing and China for printing.
At present, this stamp is the stamp of highest postage value. The postage value of this stamp is 50 Taka (US$ 0.70).
